If the supplies of electricity are to be made unavailable or are to be put at risk via working on stand-by generators or uninterruptible power supplies, the Authorised Person or Competent Person responsible for the work should contact the person in charge of the area, and a signed “permission to disconnect” form should be obtained before the equipment is isolated
