About this course

Delivered at participating electrical wholesalers. This CPD-accredited, one-day classroom course delivers a focused overview of the changes introduced by Amendment 4 to BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).

The course covers revised requirements for ICT earthing, stationary battery systems, Power over Ethernet (PoE) distribution, and updates to inspection and testing practices, helping delegates work safely and in accordance with current regulations.

Amendment 4 brings a number of significant revisions to BS 7671. This training explains what has changed, why it matters, and how the new requirements affect electrical design, installation, and verification activities.

 

By the end of the session, delegates will have strengthened their technical understanding and be better equipped to apply the latest regulatory standards accurately in practice.

How is this course assessed?

This CPD workshop does not include a formal assessment or examination.
Delegates will be awarded an eFIXX CPD certificate on successful completion of the course.

What do you need to have with you?

To participate fully in the workshop, delegates should bring:

  •  A copy of BS 7671:2018+A4:2026

  •  A scientific calculator capable of performing square root calculations
